What’s this?! An update on Thursday?! I hope this makes up for my lateness on Monday’s page! I know I said I’d try to upload semi-weekly in June but I’m finding it hard with all my other commitments. I will try my best to do so when I’m able.

Not much to say about this page. . .I had been thinking about drawing this page in a specific way for a long time, with Oriole fixing Merle’s hair and being generally overbearing; but then had a sudden brainstorm to only include the text with a closeup of Kestrel’s hand, which I had always wanted to be the main focus anyway. So I think it works. I wish all pages were this fast to draw. . .

And yes, I actually researched how to extinguish a cigar, so I now know you’re just supposed to let them burn out. . .but I had always wanted to draw Kestrel physically extinguishing it, so I made some creative liberties! (And I assume Kestrel wouldn’t do it the proper way, anyway.)
